Terna partners with Polytechnic Universities to create Master’s in Electricity Systems Innovation

GO15 member and Italian power grid operator Terna is partnering with the Polytechnic Universities of Bari, Milan and Turin, to launch a new 12-month program focused on the future electricity systems, covering grid stability, power electronics, asset management, and energy market regulation.

Open to engineering graduates, this new Master’s degree in “Innovation in Electricity Systems for Energy” admits 45 participants through a selective process. Terna funds all costs, grants each student a €19,000 bursary and offers a guaranteed job at Terna upon successful completion, with career opportunities as engineers, asset managers, or energy market specialists.

By supporting this program, Terna aims to foster the expertise needed for both the energy transition and ongoing digital transformation, in close collaboration with three leading Italian academic institutions.
