ENTSO-E Vision – A Power System for A Carbon Neutral Europe

On 10-12 October 2022, ENTSO-E invites you to join the “ENTSO-E Vision 2050” event, intended to develop a comprehensive vision of a power system that will be the foundation of a fully carbon-neutral European economy.

This flagship event will take place in 2 stages:

  • In the afternoon of October 10th: a high-level online conference to discover the key principles of the “ENTSO-E Vision: A Power System for a Carbon-Neutral Europe”, followed by a second session to discuss power system security and Pan-European Adequacy, in anticipation of the challenges related to the upcoming winter.

  • On October 11th & 12th: four thematic webinars dedicated to providing you with more information on specific key topics:

Energy system flexibility: the key for a renewable integration

 Storage Forum – Energy Markets for the Future

Best Practice Webinar: The Site Wind Right Map

The tool informs decisions across 17 states in the U.S. to accelerate the deployment of wind energy that helps people and nature thrive. We will discuss how their interactive tool collects data, empowers developers to find low-conflict areas and its potential use in spatial planning for power grids and offshore wind.
