The 2021 GO15 Annual Meeting was organized by GCCIA under the presidency of Ahmed Ali Al-Ebrahim, GO15 2021 President and GCCIA CEO and Bruno Meyer, GO15 General Secretary.
It gathered members from China, Italy, South Korea, the UK and GO15 Secretariat who had the unique opportunity to discover the Expo 2020 Dubai and to participate in a joint governing board and steering board. The meeting took place in a hybrid format to welcome all members, including those who were not able to be physically present.
GO15 members exchanged views on strategic topics such as the Low Carbon Power Grid and News Resilience Models.
High level presentations were made by K.V.S. Baba, CMD POSOCO, about the integration of large renewables in India, and Fedor Opadchiy, SO-UPS Chairman of the Board, on the key challenges of the Russian electricity industry in 2021.
