GCCIA has organized a three-day forum on energy storage from March 28th to 30th in Dubai, in collaboration with the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), to explore the role of power grids and energy storage strategies in the energy transition, in the specific local context of the Middle East and North African (MENA) region.
Topics discussed during the forum included the potential of energy storage in energy transformation, the state of the world’s market in energy storage, the opportunities and challenges across the MENA region, the creation of a strategic roadmap, as well as the best ways to enhance growth of the energy storage segment.
