On July 27 & 28, Korea Power Exchange (KPX) participated and sponsored an international energy policy conference on “Strategies for 2050 Carbon Neutrality in East Asia” held in Seoul by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology CEEPR (Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Research) and the University of Cambridge EPRG (Energy Policy Research Group).
Over 120 participants were given insight into the Korean electrical industry through keynote interventions of Yang Sung Bae (KPX Vice-chairman) on “Challenges for the Power Industry and KPX’s Initiatives Towards Net Zero”, and of Youn Ho Hyern (KPX Business Innovation Department Team Leader) on “Korean electricity market’s reforms in the era of Net Zero”.
