Electric grid operator and GO15 member California ISO has just announced the achievement of an electrical storage milestone with more than 5,000 MW of electrical storage capacity, which is a ten-fold increase over the past three years.
This capacity would allow the operator to power over 3 million homes over the course of four hours on these batteries alone. Such investments will serve to create a more resilient and reliable grid for their customers.
