Since May 2026, Mr. Sungjin Kim has served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Korean power grid operator the Korea Power Exchange (KPX). Thus, appointed as GO15 2026 Vice President.
Prior to this role, he held senior positions at the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and led several key organizations, including the Gwangju Future Automotive Mobility Agency and Gwangju Technopark. With extensive experience spanning government policy, industrial development, and regional innovation, Mr. Kim is committed to enhancing grid reliability, advancing electricity market innovation, and supporting Korea’s energy transition.
