Adani Energy Solutions Limited (AESL) has received financial support for the development of a $1billion green high voltage direct current (HVDC) link project, that will increase renewable energy supply to Mumbai.
This new link is designed to inject an additional 1,000 MW of renewable power into the city, reinforcing its supply for the coming years in this growing city. Adani Electricity Mumbai Ltd (AEML) has committed to increasing the share of renewable energy in the overall mix to 60 per cent by 2027.
