The University of Cape Town will host the Future of the Grid exchange on September 13th and 14th, organized in collaboration with GO15 member Eskom, the Presidential Climate Commission and supported by the Australian High Commission in South Africa.
This event will help share learnings and insights from international system operators and grid experts in the operation of higher variable renewable energy (VRE) power systems, providing real-world examples of challenges, lessons, and current and future interventions to enable higher levels of VRE in different contexts.
