French power grid operator and GO15 member RTE unveils a 100billion€ proposal aimed at modernizing France’s power grid by 2040, emphasizing infrastructure renewal, connecting renewable energy sources and fostering new energy industries.
RTE is submitting its plan to public consultation and suggestions by industrial, economic and stakeholders until April 30th. After further consultation with the CRE, the national regulatory agency, the plan will be submitted to the French Government for approval.
